About Us

What can a small church with five acres of pristine property do to bless their community? This is what the Fork Seventh day Adventist church pondered with their Pastor Jay Coon in 2021. After much prayer and discussion, the church settled on setting aside 2 acres for the establishment of Creation Park.
Creation Park is a private park for the Forks community. With so many visitors coming through Forks, Creation Park provides an alternative for families looking for a quiet picturesque environment. In 2021 The church contributed 5k and they secured a $10k grant. First an elk fence was put up around the two-acre park as well as a ½ acre orchard was planted. In 2022, the church secured a $20k grant for Creation Park and a fully functional bathroom is now provided.
Those who come to Creation Park can enjoy the handmade picnic tables and commercial grade grills and firepits. There is also a Northwest shelter with picnic tables and a large open fireplace at one end of the shelter.

The orchard features 24 fruit trees and 80 blueberry and 10 loganberry bushes.
Fun play equipment has been built with the child's imagination for fun in mind.

A fun place for children to play in the water.

We want those who join this private park to experience the beauty of the Creator and make special memories with their families.
Each family pays a small yearly fee to receive a code for the door of Creation Park to enter in and use. We are excited to share the message of our Creator’s wonders and memorial of creation.

I highly recommend Creation Park. My 4-year-old grandson loves it! He loves all the slides, the bridge, the climbing wall, the swings and the sandbox, the waterfall and especially loves the blueberries. They aren't ripe yet, but he enjoyed picking and eating them all last summer and is anxious to do it again this year. He always asks for Creation Park if it is not raining. It's safe and beautiful environment with working bathroom and lots of things to do. Well worth the annual membership fee.
